Tonight! Radio Cuba Canta on KPFA-FM 94.1 9 PM PST: SF Bay Area, Pac Noertwest, So Cal 12 Midnite, EST NYC, Miami Havana, Cuba We start with a mix of 1920s & 1930s son & Danzon. Following the Community Music Calendar at 30 mins into the show, we will have some conjuntos &cuban “Jazz Bands” from the 40s and 50s, then we’ll mix Orquesta Aragon, Benny More & Ng La Banda, then wind up with a half hour of music of contemporary Cuba, including Alexander Abreu y Habana D’ Primera.   • La Tania Flamenco discusses the roots and influences of Flamenco dance and music accompanied by the live acoustical guitar of Carlos Aguilar in conversation with Nina Serrano.
