La Raza Chronicle is helping raise funds for KPFA. We hope you will donate as much as you possibly can. This week we bring you:

  • Julieta Kusnir and Nina Serrano discuss the Occupations in NYC and Oakland.
  • Interviews with the leading Bay Area artists including Rene Yanez about the upcoming Dia de los Muertos events and the opportunity to receive thank you gifts for your KPFA subscriptions- including a print by Jos Sonces and a private guided tour of the SOMARTS exhibit by the curator, Rene Yanez.
  • Flamenco singer and cultural promoter Nina Menendez will discuss flamenco : it’s history and practice. She will also be offering tickets to the Diego el Gigalo concert, with a Flamenco Cd and DVD to listeners who subscribe and support Free speech radio and la Raza Chronicles.
